In love

Of love, to love, in love~

The day you appeared I lost my heart
To you, to love.
And from that day I cannot part
From you, from love.

I hold on tight
To you, to love.
In my thoughts all day and night
Of you, of love.

I offer all that I have to give
To you, to love.
And all my days I want to live
With you, in love.

*this poem was written by a friend, and I, after reading it thought it amazing and have posted it here to share with all readers on the internet today =)
Thanks, Sinthu!*

Valentines Set #2

One Heart

Opening your card,
I see three words
I. Love. You.
Around it, two wings
One shape, a heart...
Pierced by an arrow
Cupid, you say
The day you first lay your eyes on me,
"Fell in love" at "first sight"
Making 'love' sound like an accident
Stepped into a pool of red
Began our relationship
Because of chance?

Sorry...not what I believe
Love, for me...
NOT an accident
I believe, love began
With THREE words
I. Love. You.
TWO wings, that took flight
and
One heart.

The following poem has a theme of 'friendship' given to me by 'CINDY'...
and where does "love" come in, you may ask? It's Valentines! Not a...special friend day... however, I find that in times where you need comfort or a hand, it's usually your friend that's always ready...not your lover, not your boyfriend...but a true friend who's always been with you...so here goes:

Friendship

Didn't we just meet,
Six months ago, on that august day
The sixteenth, seven fifty a.m.?

Didn't it just begin,
Term one, the first test,
The first hands held?

Walking down, the school halls
Together, your hand in mine
Mine in yours...

Steadfast love, FOREVER love
For each other our hearts hold
Today...and tomorrow...

Friendship speaks for itself
Neither am I your lover,
or companion...or peer

But someone, one who
Will forever hear your sorrows
And forever...

Your friend~

Valentine's Poems

As we are nearing Valentine's Day, I'd like to start off my site with a few poems, with a common theme of 'love'.

I HEART U
Looking into your eyes,
Everyday
Holding your hand,
All the way
Drowning in a love
I can't show
Listing downstream in a boat
I can't row...

I feel so far away...too far
I don't know what to say...

It's because I HEART YOU
It's because I <3 U
and it's because I LOVE YOU

Cupid Struck my Heart
A sharp pain in my heart,
A shaft sticking out of my chest
Feeling like a bird,
Who's only left his nest

Cupid's struck my heart,
Used me as his target,
Plagued me with a love for someone,
I'm now unlikely to forget

I hear him breathing next to me,
A mere sound that can excite
Aware of his every movement,
Prepared to take flight

'cuz I've been

Struck by cupid's arrow,
Twang* went the cherub's bow
Forever I'll remember,
Never will I know

How deeply that arrow pierced,
How persistent its love would spread
So I opened my heart to love's wonder,
And decided to enjoy it instead.

Welcome to Für* Immer Poems~

Welcome! ^^
I'll start of with introducing you to my blog: Für* Poems, in short, was created to let people outside my little knit of family and friends share in my love for poems. As a child, I'd always loved reading poems, essays done by kids older than me, or any other kind of text. Therefore, as I grew up and my knowledge and love for poems grew, I began writing on my own.

Dear reader, you may be wondering what the title of my blog means. Für Immer is the German phrase for 'for ever'. I use this name for two reasons...one a result of my move to the school I am currently studying in: Concordian International School, in Bangkok Thailand. My group of friends, precisely 11 of us are in a group, and call ourselves the Für Immer group, each with a number that represents our membership. I, as the last member to have joined the group, am F.11, and take on this honor seriously.

"For ever" is a phrase that I treasure, ever since having lost some of my dear friends whence I left my previous school. Therefore, I hope, with all my heart, that us of the Für Immer group will forever remain in each other's hearts.

Back to Blogs.

I created this blog so that visitors would be able to read my poems...plus a bonus part: I often run out of ideas for my poems, so I have a little service that I would like to offer to all those reading my blogs -> feel free to send me an e-mail (to jeanniephoenix@gmail.com) containing a little snippet of anything you'd like to share with me, whether it be something you read out of a magazine, a personal experience, or just some feelings you'd like to see written into the form of a poem.

I will be posting, shortly, some poems that I have written, or maybe written on the spot while typing on my computer - I'm on my Chinese New Year break, and have a lot of spare time on my hands =D

Hope to be hearing from you soon!
Jeannie
